I’m guessing you’ve had an idea about what you want to do to your property, but are asking ‘where should I begin?’. I get it. For my own home renovation, it was all about getting rid of the very dated, and slightly disgusting, wallpapers and carpets before anything else. After this, we then measured up and assessed our space – a great place for you to start.
If you’ve lived in your home for a while, consider what it is you want to achieve, from functionality to aesthetics. Does the layout work as it is or does it require a total overhaul?
It’s also important to consider what the knock on effects will be as a whole. For example, if you plan to renovate a kitchen, how will the rest of the space be affected?
