Tour amazing kitchens

I also hope you’ll really enjoy the variety of unique projects we’ve collated for this issue.

Our cover story, designed by Brixton-based kitchen company Pluck, is a dreamy combination of pastel pink, white, and a vital hint of green that stops it from feeling overly saccharine.

Along the Essex coastline, we visit a house near Romney Marshes where the renovated kitchen-living-diner includes a huge kitchen island with enough space for two chefs to cook side by side. It also has the most fantastic indoor-outdoor bar perfect for summer events.

We also visit a beautiful olive green kitchen design by Day True in an Edwardian home in south west London, where the defining black accents are seamlessly carried outdoors to the spacious garden.

Plus, we check out the ultimate party house, where the kitchen has been designed by NJC. With dusky pink walls and a luxurious marble worktop and splashback, the designers describe this home as feeling like a cool Soho club.

Material of the month

We love marble designs at KBB , but also ceramic, which is our material of the month. It’s been a popular choice for bathrooms ever since Cleopatra was the Queen of Egypt.
