The March issue of KBB magazine is out now, which means – drum roll, please – we’ve got the lowdown on the latest launches in the industry. Welcome to KBB News, where we keep you up-to-date on all things interiors plus bring you new products and ideas to upgrade your kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.
Each month, before I sit down with a creamy cup of coffee to write Trending (our News section in the magazine), I go on the hunt for exciting launches and collaborations. For this issue, I’ve picked Plank Hardware‘s new kitchen taps, which are designed to complement the brands’ handles and knobs, to help get you inspired to refresh your space. Just in time for spring, Lust Home has released three new bold wallpaper prints, while Burlington‘s latest sanitaryware colours are simply enchanting *wink* – and, of course, there’s so much more!
So, here are my top five launches to keep on your radar…
New kitchen taps
Plank Hardware’s first range of kitchen taps is designed to complement its cabinet knobs and handles. The new Portman and Armstrong designs feature tactile detailing such as smooth, grooved or swirled surfaces. What’s more, they come in beautiful brass, antique brass, matt black and stainless steel finishes – ideal for adding interest to your washing up area.
Colourful sanitaryware
Bathroom brand Burlington has added two new alluring colours to its Bespoke collection, which are available across Edwardian basins and a range of WCs. The powdered Enchanted Blue is reminiscent of the vibrant Clair De Lune Blue shade celebrated in the 1930s, while the calm Cosmic Green takes inspiration from the 1950s’ mint green bathrooms. Dare to go bold?
New kitchen appliances
Say goodbye to cooking odours with Falmec‘s Monolith extractor, part of its new Elements collection of kitchen appliances. The model consists of a 90cm central suction solution with additional 30cm, 60cm and 90cm-wide storage modules. Boasting a powerful brushless motor, the appliance includes a Carbon.Zeo filter for recirculation. The sleek glass system is surface mounted in a matt black aluminium frame.
Get ready to cook like a pro with Miele’s new PureLine H 7262 BP built-in oven. It comes with a handy food probe, so you don’t need to keep an eye on the cooking process anymore – bonus! Simply insert it into your protein of choice, which sounds an alarm once the pre-set temperature in reached. The 76-litre oven with nine cooking functions, from auto roast to intensive baking, also comes with a fingerprint-resistant CleanSteel finish.
Joyful wallpaper prints
Looking to revive your bedroom or living space? Great news – Lust Home has introduced three new designs, adorned with organic ripples, multi-coloured dots, and the classic checkered pattern. The wallcoverings are available in warm and bright colours and boast a cheerful aesthetic while injecting an uplifting feeling into any room.
