Wall-mounted vanity unit ideas to optimise your small bathroom

Wall-mounted vanity unit ideas

Small bathroom? No problem! Check out this edit of wall-mounted vanity units, which strike the perfect balance between pretty and practical.

We love all things storage at KBB HQ, whether we’re talking stylish floor-to-ceiling furniture or smaller, miscellaneous solutions such as glass jars, wicker baskets, and labelled containers. Effective organisation is especially key in compact spaces. Enter, wall-mounted vanity units.

Elevated bathroom furniture offers plenty of practical benefits. Floating vanity units are usually on the small side, freeing up valuable floor space, which also gives the illusion of a larger room. As they are mounted on the wall, maintenance is a breeze, too.

Plus, there is no need to compromise on style, thanks to the sheer variety in design options – from sizes, shapes, and colourways, to worktops, basins (inset or countertop), and finishes. Picture floating, handleless units, modern, multiple-drawer solutions, and designs with a mix of closed storage and open shelving.

One particularly popular effect at the moment, which is not going away anytime soon, is fluting. Vanity units adorned with this reeded texture add aesthetic value to any space, while also enhancing the tactile experience of your bathroom.

However, it’s worth consulting a bathroom professional if this is something you would like to go for, as the wall structure needs to be able to accommodate the weight of your new vanity. Expert installation is advisable to ensure a safe environment, too. In addition, keep in mind that a floating vanity offers less room for storage compared to a floorstanding design, simply because of the amount of space available for toiletries and other bathroom must-haves.

Now, are you ready to get inspired? Check out these beautiful wall-mounted vanity units…
