What’s trending: how to add a dash of luxury to your interiors

Glamorous designs

From opulent marble, grand double showers, to boutique dressing rooms, it seems our interiors are getting a luxurious makeover.

I’ve been spotting more and more interiors drenched in veiny marble surfaces and adorned with bespoke elements, oozing a luxury feel. So, if this sounds just like your style, here are some clever ways to elevate your kitchen, bedroom or bathroom…

To me, luxury means personalisation – a tailored approach to interior design, which not only elevates your scheme aesthetically but also enhances your way of living.

Enter: bespoke cabinet interiors. One of my favourite features I’ve written recently, it allowed me to dive deeper into the art of custom kitchens. From drawer inserts, plate racks, paint, to lighting, by commissioning a bespoke company, you can truly achieve a personal, practical setup with oodles of charm. But don’t take my word for it – click here to see just what’s possible.

Dressing rooms scream luxury; I mean, it’s one of the few must-have items on my dream home wishlist. Picture striking display areas with bag and shoe collections on show, accent lighting, and a central storage island for all of your accessories. These are a few popular trends in 2025, so if you are planning on giving up your guest bedroom in favour of a walk-in wardrobe or simply need inspiration for your redesign, discover what’s trending here.

The double showerhead is another glamorous feature I’ve been drawn to lately. They are ideal in a family bathroom or a couple’s ensuite, allowing for a more seamless and efficient experience. So, if you have the space, why not indulge in the luxury of showering in a cosy nook-like enclosure or grand walk-in design, just like you would in a boutique hotel. But, before you take the plunge, discover what you need to consider, from plumbing to cost.

Also on my radar…

I’ve mentioned marble at the beginning of this article; well, it is certainly one of the most popular materials taking centre stage in 2025. And the bigger and more statement the design, the better. I’m talking splashbacks embellished with prominent veining patterns, coloured stone worktops, and bold islands with waterfall-style edges, all bound to add wow factor and a sprinkle of luxury to your kitchen.

Spotted on social

I am a self-confessed lover of all things checkerboard but I’ve been spotting renovators and designers putting a twist on this classic print. Say hello to the diamond-shaped tile laying pattern. It’s equally fun and elegant, and bound to catch the eye, whether you spruce up your kitchen splashback with complementing moody hues or showering area using neutral slabs.

Is there anything more elegant that white interiors? This charming kitchen design ticks all the boxes: statement veiny marble, timeless cabinetry, brass accents, and subtle pops of calming blue.

I was drawn to all the invitingly tactile textures in this project, from the stone detailing to the fluted furniture finish; not to mention the glazed tiles and polish brassware.

I don’t know about you but I’m certainly feeling inspired to elevate my interiors. Did anything catch your eye?
