Are colourful sinks and basins the new ‘it’ thing to have in your home?

So you’re looking for personality in your kitchen or bathroom, but don’t want to go OTT? Oppositely, do you want the maximalist look and just need that one last thing to finish off the design? Have I got the answer for you. Walking around the KBB show (which, FYI is the UK’s largest gathering of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands) I was instantly drawn to all the colourful sinks and basins on display.

And not only were they all different colours, but they varied in style, shape and material. My favourite being those made from matte ceramic, that were big, bulky and bold.

Colourful sinks and basins are perfect for bringing to life a more traditional and muted Shaker-style kitchen, or can help add character to a seamless and contemporary bathroom. They’re also great fun for cloakrooms or family bathrooms – adding lots of fun and character.

Colourful kitchen sinks

This gorgeous Bocchi sink is in a creamy biscuit colour – which would look lovely in a contemporary country-style kitchen.

Hey! Here I am checking out this pastel pink basin on the Shower Wall stand. (I feel like I’m matching it a little!)
