Green bathrooms: from soft sage to dark forest

Green is the colour on everyone’s minds lately – it’s refreshing and relaxing but powerful enough to make a statement.

If you’re planning a bathroom redesign, green might just be the perfect colour for transforming your space into a serene retreat. “Green infuses a space with tranquillity and rejuvenation. As a colour closely tied to nature, green is celebrated for its calming influence, making it an ideal choice for bathrooms,” explains Jorge Hernandez, head of product design at Britton.

From going all-out and drenching your room in this sumptuous shade to adding subtle pops of green through smaller items, it truly is a versatile colour, allowing you creative freedom to bring your dream bathroom to life.

Drawing inspiration from nature, it can instantly give your space a refresh. Plus, according to colour psychology, it is also thought to relieve stress and promote a calming environment. “When used across bathroom furniture and vanities, green creates a grounding environment while offering something a little different. Deep, earthy tones like olive, spruce, or sage add warmth and sophistication, while lighter shades like mint or pastel green evoke a feeling of freshness and optimism,” says Charlotte Tilby, head of marketing at Woodstock Trading Co.

So, to help inspire you, we’ve gathered some of our favourite ways of welcoming green into your bathroom…
