Green bathroom looks we’re loving for a modern style
Posted on 8th March 2022
It’s no secret that the team and I are fans of green kitchens. From deep forest shades to warm sage styles, green kitchens are a popular look all around. Do you love it too? Well, if you do, the good news is we’re seeing this trend move into the bathroom too.
Green bathroom looks are a good way to add a touch of colour to your space – in a big or small way. Also, depending on how brave you’re feeling with your design, you can go bold and dark or more muted and still achieve a modern look.
So, during my trip to the KBB Show at the NEC in Birmingham (the bi-annual gathering of kitchen and bathroom brands showcasing their launches), my eyes were constantly drawn to greens. My camera roll quickly filled with many, many photos of the new styles I spotted – so lush. So I think I’m now at the stage where I have more pictures of bathrooms than I do of people!
I spotted everything from wall panels, tiles, basins, baths and bathroom furniture in this gloriously organic shade…
Green bathroom looks to update your bathroom
So this dark, rich green draws me right in. With a matt finish and no handles, the furniture, from Dansani, also creates a slick modern look that has more warmth than glossier options. Why not match your accessories to your furniture too? Because this matt green shelf and hooks, also from Dansani, create a coordinated look. They also have the bonus of extra practicality as well as a nice place to display your toiletries. For a more classic green bathroom look, go for a muted sage tone and make the bath the centre of your scheme. This Carron Bathrooms roll-top freestanding bath with claw feet would look great as a focal point.Prefer the dark side of green bathrooms? This roll-top freestanding bath from V+A Baths does the trick. Imagine this Bocchi basin on top of a Scandi-style oak vanity unit – simply stunning.

You can mix and match your green bathroom looks too. I like how the Whitebirk Sink Co has added a mossy green butler-style fireclay basin atop a soft sage vanity unit. By keeping to one colour in different tones, the look really works. There’s something timeless about a green metro tile and these Showerwall panels recreate the look. Easy to install, each large sheet is put in place with minimal joins, so it’s easier to keep clean than lots of grout, too – bonus.Full of inspiration, the Ca’Pietra stand at the KBB Show featured these Mermaid’s Garden hexagonal tiles which bring a contemporary botanical feel. Mix the two bathroom trends of the moment: green and matt black and you’re onto a winner. This set-up by Atlanta Bathrooms brings just enough colour to a bathroom if you’re after more of a slick look. And if you want to add a simple touch of green to your bathroom, go for accessories. This matt green set from Roca is pretty and practical.
