The festive season is upon us, which is why our December 2022 issue focuses on hosting. From practical prep space and social dining zones right through to fancy home bars.
Kitchens for entertaining are essential for December, right? And I don’t know about you, but I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year â especially when I think back over the last two weâve had. We kicked off last yearâs Christmas Day by doing a lateral flow test before going round our familyâs house â not so jolly.
But this year, fingers crossed, it will be different. My two-and-a-half year old has begun to understand who Santa is. And Mum got in early and booked her Christmas Eve food delivery slot what feels like months ago.
Iâve subconsciously started looking at decorations and garish jumpers (matching ones, of course) and am excited about all the films I get to watch while enjoying a gingerbread latte. But itâs gathering with friends and family, entertaining in my kitchen at this time of year, that is one of my favourite parts of this season.
